Where is The Villas - Barossa located?

The Villas are located in the heart of Marananga village, along the iconic Seppeltsfield Avenue of palms, in the Barossa Valley. Marananga is one of the prettiest villages in the Barossa, and only a short drive to the nearby towns of Tanunda and Nuriootpa, and 55 minutes drive from Adelaide airport.

What will guests at The Villas- Barossa experience along Seppeltsfield Road?

A stay at The Villas - Barossa offers you the opportunity to experience the ‘Best of the Barossa on Foot’!! Our villas are an easy walking distance to renowned Barossa cellar doors and wine-tasting, plus Seppeltsfield Road Distillers and excellent dining experiences such as Appellation at The Louise, staġuni and Canteen Barossa. Cellar doors within a 10-minute walk include Two Hands Wines, Greenock Creek Wines, New Wave Wines, Heritage Wines, Tscharke Wines, Barossa Valley Estate, and a slightly longer walk takes you to Whistler Wines, Laughing Jack Wines and Schubert Estate.

Are there cycle trails nearby?

The Villas are well located for a cycling holiday. The Barossa Valley has an excellent network of sealed cycle paths, and the quiet rural roads around The Villas are also lovely for exploring by bike. Barossa Bike Hire will deliver bikes to your villa.

What are the nightly rates?

The Villas - Barossa standard rate per night is $595 and specials are offered seasonally. Our peak season rate is $670 during the Christmas and New Year period from 23 December to 3 January. Full details on rates and inclusions for The Villas - Barossa can be found here.

Is there a minimum stay?

Yes, The Villas - Barossa has a minimum 2-night stay.

What are check-in and check-out times?

Check in from 3pm and check out before 11am.  If you’re hoping for a late check-out, please contact us the day before and we’ll confirm if this is available.

How many guests can each Villa accommodate?

Each villa accommodates one couple, in a queen size bed.  However, if you are travelling with another couple, you might like to book out both Villas on the property.  For larger groups, we can recommend other excellent accommodation options in our local area.

Are The Villas suitable for children?

The Villas – Barossa is not suitable for children or infants as it offers a secluded retreat for adults, rather than a family holiday destination.

What about pets?

The Villas - Barossa is situated in a natural Australian bush and vineyard setting with nearby wildlife and birdlife. Pets are not permitted at The Villas – Barossa.

 Will my Villa have WiFi?

Yes, complimentary WiFi is provided in your Villa.

 And what about TV?

Yes, your Villa is fully equipped with a Smart TV, including complimentary NETFLIX.

Are kitchen facilities available?

Your villa offers full kitchen facilities, including refrigerator, oven and hotplates, microwave and dishwasher, plus a great range of cookware.

Is there somewhere I can do some laundry?

There are several laundromats within a short drive (5min) of The Villas- Barossa: Ezy Wash & Dry Laundromat Nuriootpa, 45 Murray St, Nuriootpa (and Linke’s Bakehouse & Tearooms or Fleur Social are nearby while you wait). And 7-day Laundromat, 119A Murray Street, Tanunda (take some time to explore the lovely Tanunda main street, with a stop in at Darlings Cafe).

Can I park at The Villas?

Yes, there is one parking bay outside each Villa, and this is complimentary.

 Are rooms accessibility friendly?

No, the rooms are not accessibility friendly, as each Villa is located on a ridgeline and is accessed by a gentle sloping path.

Is there a firepit or a BBQ?

The Villas do not have BBQ or firepit facilities.

 How do I change or cancel my booking?

Please make changes or cancel your booking with the same booking channel that it was originally made:  direct with The Villas – Barossa, or Booking.Com, Air BnB, etc. Please refer to our cancellation policy.
